S/B
SIS
S/B shows a person in a tree → help a person climb a tree (compare 丞). The later SIS form combines a variant of 人 person, right and left feet, and 木 tree/wood to emphasize the same idea of helping another person climb → mount; help someone get on (a vehicle or palanquin); get into/take (a bus/train etc.); ride → give someone a lift; convey. Also, multiply (← multiple riders of a vehicle), take part (← get on a vehicle with others) and deceive (compare English "take someone for a ride").
