adds heart/emotions to indicate pure emotion. Truth, compassion, and sympathy are by association, with circumstances by extension (true feelings expressing a situation exactly as it is).
adds water to indicate pure water. Clear, clean, and purify are associated meanings, while cool is a borrowing.
adds sun/day to indicate a clear day. Clear up is an associated meaning.
